FOGGIA PLACE HACK:
design and innovation for the territory enhancement.
Transforming an abandoned square into a place for meeting and sharing, thanks to a bottom up intervention.
The basic idea is that designing and making products supports social practices, empowers people and encourages inclusion.
Through design people take a proactive attitude, the different local realities and the community connect each others, encouraging a territorial empowerment that helps to regain confidence in the territory, in this case
the city of Foggia in Puglia.
The developed model is replicable and variable by theme (furniture, urban green, etc...) and by location (a square/street, park, etc...).
